A passenger could be in the car and be hit by a third party, and the driver could have been doing something wrong to say the driver was speeding, and then another car pulls out. The passenger is going to have the potential of a claim against both the driver and another car that may have substantially contributed to the injury and they need to get a lawyer, just like anyone else and make their claim. It's very much the same process, but you just may have more defendants or people responsible for their injuries.
