Brandon L. Beagley is a Texas transplant, born and raised in Pleasant Grove, Utah. He's the son of a contractor and a homemaker. At a young age, Brandon learned from his parents that hard work and integrity are essential to personal and professional success.
After high school, Brandon spent two years on a service mission in Chiapas, Mexico. Notably, Brandon was present during Hurricane Stan and assisted with rescue efforts and clean-up work. In addition, Brandon became fluent in Spanish through his day-to-day interactions with the people he served.
After returning from Mexico, Brandon attended Brigham Young University. In 2013, Brandon graduated with a degree in History.
By that time, Brandon knew he wanted to pursue a legal career. He chose Baylor Law School because of the school's reputation for trial advocacy and its Practice Court program.
While in law school, he earned the Robert Messinger Memorial Award for excellence in legal writing and spent a summer as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Judge Darold McDade.
Brandon excelled in Baylor's trial advocacy program and knew that he wanted to be the kind of lawyer who gets into court to try cases. After he earned his Juris Doctor in 2016, Brandon fulfilled his goal of becoming a trial lawyer by joining our team at Sloan Law Firm.
"I love the competitive aspect of litigation, but I've also discovered that law provides an opportunity for me to learn new things every day," Brandon says.
Brandon's practice focuses mostly on personal injury litigation and commercial litigation. One of his career highlights to date was serving on the team that achieved a $6 million settlement for a client who suffered a brain injury, multiple broken bones, a punctured lung, and torn knee ligaments as a result of an 18-wheeler collision. The client was awarded a net amount of $4 million after attorney's fees and expenses.
